Overview
We provided a solution that monitors the profit and loss in real time by acquiring various data stored in the core system and market data of information vendors.
Background Of Development
At Company A, front users had no way of knowing their position during the day. Therefore, there was no other way but to imagine the position. However, it is difficult when the market is intense. They want to understand their real-time profit and losses, as they allow for “rough numbers”. There was also a request from the manager that he wanted to have a comprehensive overview of the risks of all front users.
EFF’s Awareness
The problem was that the expression “rough numbers” was unclear. To solve the problem, we first created a prototype. We then asked several front users to use the prototype, to make sure it was exactly what they had imagined. By repeating this process, we have produced what users want.
Construction Examples - Intraday P/L Monitoring
Providing a solution to calculate intra-day profit and loss by utilizing the financial calculation library of “Financier”. Imports various data stored in the core system and market data of external information vendors. And then calculate and display profit and loss in real time based on captured data.
